“Let's share our European Identity” eTwinning Project wants students to understand, respect and appreciate other European cultures. This way they will perceive the universal value of culture in our lives and communities. Recognising in each partner a different building, a monument, music or a folk tale is recognising ourselves.

AIMS

  • To develop students’ awareness regarding Cultural Heritage in all it’s forms; tangible and intangible.

  • To develop inter-cultural connections amongst students of Erasmus+ participant countries (Italy, Spain, Romania, Portugal).

  • To raise awareness of the importance to celebrate and preserve the heritage.

  • To celebrate important dates and festivities of each partner's country.

  • To develop citizenship skills.

  • To promote collaborative working.

  • To improve the ability to communicate in English.

  • To promote the use of ICT.

WORK PROCESS

A. Interaction amongst students.

B. Work planning – divide students into groups (1 or 2 members of each country). Each group will work a topic about each country: monuments, buildings, clothing, folk stories, artefacts, archaeological sites, traditional craftsmanship, traditional music.

C. Using ICT to collect information about cultural heritage.

D. Organization of the information gathered by students.

E. Showing and disseminating the final product throughout the school community (a digital book) and the web (a website).

EXPECTED RESULTS
